Daily Horoscope: Moon Transiting Scorpio, August 4, 2022
Moon transiting Scorpio, Thursday, August 4th, conveys the energy of endings and new beginnings, but to make the transition from the past and present to the future, you may have to let go of resistance and negativity, as the moon forms a trine aspect to Saturn in Aquarius, a sextile aspect to Mercury in Virgo, and square aspects to both the sun in Leo, and Pluto in Capricorn. The feeling that you may need to give up the fight, or accept a loss, if you wish to stay true to your purpose, or do not want to take on any bad karma, is due to Mars, Uranus, and the North Node squaring both the sun and Saturn, while also creating sextile aspects with both Venus in Cancer, and Neptune in Pisces – two benevolent planets that are trine to each other, offering you the potential to express or experience kindness, nurturing, healing, patience and forgiveness. The shadow and the light are equally represented by the current transiting planets and their aspects to each other, and while the moon is moving through the all or nothing sign of Scorpio, it may be challenging to see the gray areas in between the all good or all bad view you may have of a situation, person, or even yourself. I think Mercury in discerning Virgo opposing Saturn in analytical Aquarius, and sextile to the perceptive Scorpio moon, can show you that there is no good point to thinking negatively, carrying a grudge, or perpetuating conflict, and as soon as you let all that go, the genius solution to a problem or the restoration of a peaceful relationship begins. The image I used for the forecast today is a statue of Janus – the god of endings and new beginnings – with Bellona – the goddess of war. Janus looks like he is telling Bellona, “That’s enough, now”, doesn’t it?
