Moon transiting Aries, Thursday, August 22nd, lights a spark of imaginative “what if?”, and gives you the confidence to begin something which might have a pre-ordained feel, as the moon conjunct the North Node in Aries, and Neptune retrograde in Pisces, continues the busy exchange of energy it had yesterday through the same major aspect patterns of a Grand Trine and Kite, a Yod, and T-square. Yesterday’s Thor’s Hammer Has faded, removing the fear of criticism, or the “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” mentality, which is good, because the T-square involving Saturn retrograde in Pisces, Mars conjunct Jupiter in Gemini, and Venus in Virgo will require that constructive criticism and discernment work hand in hand with optimism, pleasure, harmony, cooperative endeavors and growth. Today’s initiating and self aware fire moon forms a sesquisquare aspect with the sun in Leo conjunct Mercury retrograde in Leo, reawakening a creative idea or reminding you of your true calling. Mercury retrograde always brings a time period of being able to go back over something, and the Yod and Kite aspect patterns are directing the sun and Mercury toward Neptune retrograde and the North Node.
