Daily Horoscope: Moon Transiting Sagittarius, May 7, 2023

Moon transiting Sagittarius, Sunday, May 7th, brings a “Devil may me do it day” of mischief, or a strong resistance to work, authority, or the voice of reason, as the moon forms a square aspect to Saturn in Pisces, and develops a quincunx aspect with Mercury retrograde, the sun, and Uranus in Taurus as the day progresses. People are likely to overindulge in things that give them pleasure or a sense of having gained or won – even if the excess is to their detriment or at the expense of another – as Mars in Cancer engages in a T-square with Jupiter in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius, while forming a trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces, and a sextile to the Taurus planets. Venus in Cancer sextile to Jupiter, trine to Saturn, quincunx to Pluto, but square to Neptune, makes people feel secure or justified in breaking the rules or overstepping boundaries – perhaps willing to make a sacrifice, pay the fine, or seek forgiveness after the fact. People can be friendlier and kinder to strangers than to family and loved ones today, so if you are on the receiving end of negativity, and you don’t like it, say so. Keep a tight rein on impatience and poor impulse control, participating in gossip or cruel jokes or teasing, yielding to peer pressure which might cause you to forget about your values or commitments. You can have a day of fun or adventure, but pace yourself and choose your companions wisely. This can be a good day for parents of older children to test their readiness for greater independence by giving them a low risk task of responsibility.
