Moon transiting Aries, Monday, August 15th, impulses you to act upon your desires without knowing in advance whether the outcome will be good for you or not, as the moon joins Jupiter and Chiron – both retrograde – in Aries, while forming a trine aspect to Venus in Leo. Self-restraint is nearly impossible while the planets of emotion, expansion, needs, and pleasure are sharing their energy in fire signs associated with pursuit and conquest. Mercury in Virgo opposing Neptune in Pisces enhances imagination but may also increase deception, illusion, denial, avoidance, or rationalization – any of which might seems alright in an “end justifies the means” way, while Mercury is also forming a Grand Trine in the earth element which sets up a Kite aspect pattern with Neptune. The planets involved in the Grand Trine and Kite are Mercury in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, Mars in Taurus, and Neptune in Pisces, which can lead you to the manifestation of your desire or some level of success, but the fixed T-square of the sun in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, and Mars in Taurus, as well as Venus opposing Pluto, and Mercury opposing Neptune, indicates that someone may be pulling your strings to make you want what they want, or you may have to pay a price or make a sacrifice to have what you desire. As I read the story of Pandora and her box, I realized she was groomed and set up to open that box and let loose the troubles within upon mankind – but – at the last minute, she closed the lid, and Hope remained inside. The moon joins optimistic Jupiter and healing Chiron today, and Neptune at the top of the Kite draws the constructive earth energy of the Grand Trine toward faith in things working out for the best. Make your move forward, even if you are getting mixed messages or lack clarity, and choose to feel joy and hope as you create the future with your thoughts and feelings.
