Daily Horoscope: Moon Transiting Leo, July 2, 2022

Moon transiting Leo, Saturday, July 2nd, activates childish behavior, such as willful stubbornness and temper tantrums, which can impede the discovery of new delights or the enjoyment of the pleasure that is already close at hand as the moon forms a fixed T-square aspect pattern with Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn in Aquarius, as well as a sextile aspect to Mercury in Gemini and a trine aspect to Mars in Aries. Venus in Gemini sextile to Jupiter in Aries repeats the assertion of the favorable lunar aspects to Mercury and Mars (and I am sure you heard this when you were a child or say this to your own children) “You won’t know if you like it unless you try it!”. Unfortunately, the sun in Cancer square to Jupiter, Mercury square to Neptune in Pisces, and Mars square to Pluto all make drama, wallowing in misery, and “cutting off your nose to spite your face”, an appealing option if your inner child is needy for attention. If you choose to follow those square aspects in reaction to the dominating stubborn T-square, rather than opting for the self regulating moon/Mars trine, and self disciplining Mercury/Saturn trine, you may be viewed with amusement by anyone you are attempting to impress or coerce, which could enrage you further and make you appear even more ridiculous. If the roles are reversed, and you find yourself dealing with someone having a tantrum or being willfully stubborn, don’t take it personally and remain detached. It may help to ask if they are tired or hungry because physically energizing Mars is so busy today that meals may be forgotten, and the need for rest ignored, due to intense work or recreation. If you feel out of sorts, have a snack or a nap to restore your own energy.
