Daily Horoscope: Moon in Libra, October 5, 2021

Moon in Libra, Tuesday, October 5, turns your attention toward desires and commitments as you prepare for the changes that the approaching New Moon in Libra tomorrow could bring. Today, as the moon enters the early degrees of the relationship minded cardinal air sign, it forms a trine to serious Saturn in future oriented Aquarius, and a sextile to pleasure seeking Venus in intense boundary merging Scorpio. Although I chose a painting of a bride and her attendants to represent today’s lunar transit and aspects, you do not have to be marrying in order to feel the intense focus the moon places on determining what it is that you truly desire (Venus in Scorpio), realizing you are not in an emotional vacuum, but by the very nature of being human, become more aware of yourself through your connection to others (moon in Libra), and calling upon friends or structured organizations in society to help you succeed as you commit to your future plans (Saturn in Aquarius). As the moon approaches the sun and Mars in Libra today, it activates the quincunx aspect between sun/Mars and change maker Uranus in security minded Taurus, heightening any anxiety or anticipation you may be feeling about upcoming changes. Even though a trine between Mercury in Libra, and expansive Jupiter in Aquarius, makes you think that change and growth is good, and a Grand Trine of the moon, Saturn, and the North Node in Gemini is showing you the importance of dedicating yourself to a decision, an opposition between the North Node in dualistic Gemini and Venus in Scorpio, and another between sun/Mars and Chiron in Aries, asks you to pause and look deeply within before moving forward with any agreement or alliance. Do you feel good about it, or do you fear hurting others or being disliked if you say no?
